(Art. 13 EU Reg. 679/2016 and Art. 13 Legislative Decree 196/2003) With this notice, LA CICLISTICA MILANO (hereinafter “LA CICLISTICA MILANO”) informs the user about the methods and purposes of collection and processing of their personal data through this website (hereinafter the “Site”), including through the use of cookies. The user’s personal data (hereinafter the “Data”) will be processed by LA CICLISTICA MILANO, with registered office in Milan, Via Pellizza Da Volpedo 12 – 20149 Milan, VAT number 10432400967, e-mail: info@laciclisticamilano.it, represented by the legal representative Fabio Venturini, as data controller.

Types of data processed and purposes of processing

Browsing data:
• data necessarily collected through the normal operation of the Site, including the user’s IP address and the hostname of their device, access times to the Site, any browsing preferences set by the user on the Site and configuration parameters of the user’s operating system and computer device; for data collected through the use of cookies, see the relevant section below. Browsing data does not allow direct identification of the user, is used solely for the proper functioning of the Site and to process anonymous statistical data regarding the operation of the Site to improve its usability. Browsing data is necessarily processed by LA CICLISTICA MILANO for the provision of access to the Site. The provision of browsing data is mandatory to use the Site and any refusal to provide it would make access and browsing impossible.

Data provided by the user:
• data provided by the user through contact forms present on the Site;
• data provided by the user when reporting any technical problems regarding the Site;
• data provided by the user when sending emails or other types of correspondence to LA CICLISTICA MILANO addresses shown on the Site.
Data provided by the user in connection with reports of problems regarding the Site or requests regarding LA CICLISTICA MILANO services are processed by LA CICLISTICA MILANO based on its legitimate interest in satisfying the users’ requests. The provision of this data is mandatory in order to respond to the user’s requests and any refusal would make it impossible for LA CICLISTICA MILANO to provide such response. User data may also be used by LA CICLISTICA MILANO in anonymous and aggregated form for statistical purposes and market research, possibly with the assistance of third parties specialized in the sector.

Methods of processing

The Data may be processed both in paper and automated and electronic form. The Data will be stored by LA CICLISTICA MILANO through adequate organizational and technical security measures for the time strictly necessary for the purposes of processing, according to the following logic: • data provided to LA CICLISTICA MILANO in connection with the reporting of technical problems regarding the Site or requests submitted to LA CICLISTICA MILANO through the addresses contained on the Site will be stored for the time necessary to respond to such reports and requests and, in any case, for no more than 1 (one) month, after which they will be deleted; • Data provided to LA CICLISTICA MILANO in connection with contact requests and/or newsletter subscription will be stored for the time necessary to inform the user about news, events and exhibitions organized by LA CICLISTICA MILANO. Data processing will be aimed at carrying out direct marketing activities, such as sending – including via email – advertising material and communications with informative and/or promotional content relating to products or services provided and/or promoted by the Controller. The data may also be used for individual or aggregate profiling activities and market research aimed, for example, at analyzing habits and consumption choices, processing statistics on them, or evaluating the degree of satisfaction with respect to the products and services offered. In particular, the Data provided will be stored for a period of 5 (five) years, after which they will be deleted. This storage logic refers to the line taken by the Data Protection Authority regarding the processing of data for marketing purposes by economic operators offering goods or services whose consumption and/or offer are not frequent over time, since LA CICLISTICA MILANO deals with the sale of bicycles, infrequent over time with respect to the average customer.

Access to data and disclosure

The Data may be made accessible to employees and/or collaborators of LA CICLISTICA MILANO authorized to process them, and may be disclosed to any parties that process the Data on behalf of LA CICLISTICA MILANO as external data processors (for example: internet service providers, professional firms, etc.). Further information is available from the Controller. The Data may also be disclosed to other parties in compliance with any legal obligations (for example, to authorities).

Transfer of data abroad

The Data will not be transferred outside the European Union. However, should the transfer of Data outside the European Union become necessary in the future with respect to LA CICLISTICA MILANO’s activities, the latter will carry out such transfer based on adequate technical and organizational security measures, in compliance with applicable legal provisions, after adequately informing the user.

User rights

By contacting LA CICLISTICA MILANO at the email address info@laciclisticamilano.it, or at the registered office, the user can revoke consent to processing based on it without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing carried out before the revocation, object to processing for marketing purposes, and exercise the rights of access, update, rectification or integration, deletion of personal data, restriction of processing and the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to processing, as well as the right to data portability. The user may also object to the installation of cookies, in the manner indicated in the relevant section below, and also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
